In 2018, an actor friend of mine introduced me to a play that performed in when he was in school. The fella who wrote the play suggested that I take a look at it and perhaps be interested in adapting it and shooting it as a short film. I read the script and immediately saw its cinematic potential. I shared my ideas and thoughts with a group of close friends, all of whom are actors who were in the original play.
Once I had the writer’s blessing to shoot the film without a writer's fee we quickly shot it on-location in Queens. Currently, Dual Action is in post-production and made its way to film festivals in 2021, and it cost less than $700 to make.
