There is no rule that says that a story should adhere to a single category. For example – I’m sure you’ve noticed that Lord of the Rings appears twice on that list, once as a “Battle Movie” and then again as a “Good vs. Evil” movie.
Titanic can be categorized as a “Man vs. Nature” meets “Love Story,” etc. The purpose of this list is to help you better categorize your movie’s theme; the theme and category will serve as your movie’s DNA and will help guide the decisions you make along the way.
