Over the past few years, I’ve been working to improve my compositing skills via VFX apps like Adobe After Effects, so in 2018, my close collaborator, Katie Vincent, and I decided to shoot a short VFX film which was shot entirely on green-screen. The short film is basically a five-minute monologue about the end of times, delivered by a white snow queen of sorts, a beautiful yet dangerous creature who is now awakened to bring an end to mankind by covering the land in snow and ice. It’s an allegory for how we torment and abuse Mother Earth and the inevitable consequences of that abuse that will ultimately come back to us.

I can’t wait to share this with the world. The Last Frost will hit the festival circuits in 2022.
